Rob Buck, of 10,000 Maniacs fame died in Dec 2000. Earlier that year, he had jammed with Michael Dean, Johnny Satan (John Stratton) David of the Avenue, and James Abate. The session was taped and four of the tracks are featured here, courtesy of Michael Dean.

After a decade of playing and recording with his band Jeffrey Normal & Magick, bassist Jeffrey Normal formed 3 hole PUNCH with saxophonist Bill Bousfield, drummer Rich Maslach, guitarist Chris Davies, and Drew Thompson. Their music have been called "fiery, progressive funk of a consistently high caliber" by Allmusic Guide. The group has released a CD titled "How do you like my cat?"

Opposition Party was formed in the summer of 1999 with a distinct vision. In their own words; "to play some real Rock and F--king Roll to wrest the music scene from the hands of all that pussy, alternative bullshit." They've played local venues such as Casbah, Dream Street, Blind Melons, Brick by Brick; and are opening for high energy national acts like Pat Travers.
